Mask :: Illustration Friday

Try as he might, Rupert couldn't mask his true feelings for the mask given to him.
"I'm a raccoon, for crying out loud. Why would I need a mask!?!", he was heard muttering.
Rupert was not known for his graciousness.

Ha! I thought 'racoon', too! Very clever and I love his expression at being unmasked!

Moody little critter!

Don't we all have more than one disguise?? Nice job!

cute!!!

Hee hee that's cute.

The expression in Rupert's eyes-beautiful work.
This is so much fun and poor Rupert is right to be insulted, he has the perfect natural mask.

Poor Rupert. What if the mask came in pink? He should be glad for what he was given.

Great expression. I know for me this is sometimes hard to accomplish.

COolio!!

really nice blog you have here, john. like your take on mask.

really nice mask!

LOL. This causes one to ponder which woodland creature may have been the giver... I suspect it is his reputation that brought this about to begin with.

At least its a bright sunny day, eh?

On a sidenote: I've noticed a very large number of cartoons lately using raccoons as a comic prop... seems every dad must eradicate them from somewhere anymore. What's the deal?
