Happy Anniversary to me! I have posted every week for one year!

Brilliant!! It's funny ~ "American Gothic" is one of those paintings, like the Mona Lisa, that has been parodied hundreds of times, but I don't think I've ever seen a clown version. You really got their expressions just right. Love it!

There's nothing like a good parody of a classic painting... and this is nothing like a good parody of a classic painting. LOL. Just kidding. Favorite parts: bycicle hord and Gothic arch detail in the background. One change: go for the oversized specs rather than the undersized. :-) I love the continueing art parodies... what is this, #4? A couple more years and you can publish a book!

I'm not sure why, but I almost expected to see a John Deere tractor and the faint outline of a farm in the distance...

funny! great one!

Hee hee, very clever. Dem scary ole clowns. Looks like an anti-McDonalds poster.

Very clever - and horrifying!

Ha! Everything from the horn to the circus tents to their expressions... all perfect.

And this is probably my biggest phobia. I get the shakes just thinking of being around clowns.

... also, congrats on the one-year/every-week mark. I've got four more weeks... the end of October.

It's quiet around here... too quiet.

Time to stop clowning around and get with being quiet! Yer running out of time!
