"Cup of 30-weight, Tin Guy, and leave us the can."

Simply great.

A robot bar, well that's a nice work with colours and design. Love the lights.

Thanks for all your comments-past and present, Twisselman, Katili, Bubblegum, Aynaku.

I love the 10w cans at the bar. Great take on Nighthawks.

Hilarious!! I could see a whole series of these.... and your spotted is quite clever too

Impressive... the slight blurring definately works here. Linking to the original make this one even better since those of us who wouldn't have made the connection (I thought it looked familiar, but couldn't place it) get a better idea of the parity.

Fantastic! My favorite take on this theme so far!

I think there is a real painting like this, with James Dean... I like yours, too. I tihnk I saw the origioanl on the outside of an abandon building in Downtown Milwaukee.

This is so incredible. Great twist on Nighthawks.

Oh, this is good...this is really, really good!

Awesome, very futuristic, clean and orderly.

Oh, what a wonderful illustration blog you have. You had me laughing outloud with your TATTOO image. Mostly because my son in law is a tattoo artist and my daughter draws the flash for him.
Your Robot painting came with the added benefit of a visit to the Art Institute of Chicago, your spotted zebra is devine and even moreso with his little pink tongue lapping up the water. Monsters who operate? Genius.

Thanks for visiting my site, otherwise with all the people that are now on Illustration Friday, I might never have visited here.

Very nice, very nice. Hopper would be proud.

Great work, perfect! I love it, and i love Edwar Hopper

This is hawesome! Great idea and you really pulled it off!

Smooch,
